My Personal Dunya Goals: E.ElFaymoui Lecture Notes

Theres nothing wrong with having success in this dunya... I have some goals I want to achieve Inshallah..I will do this through aslasbab-effort and tawkul-trust in Allah

Eslam Elfayhoumis lecture was about this topic : Trusting in Allah but also putting effort
he said,

"Pre-requisites to get the help of Allah you have to put effort first"

Do everything in your power to get what you seek, if you prepare correctly you will get it.

If you want something good in this dunya then put forth towards it.

Istkhara is a form of tawkal, you dont pray it with doubts.

Tawkal is not the idea of giving up, it is a proactive attuide. It is the attuide of 'Il will go full esteem ahaed and I will not worry.

Takwal is you push forward all you have and if there are roadblocks dont worry. Allah opens up the way for those who have yaqn (Certanity).


As Allah is guiding you He will give you sighns, these signns will boost the feeling of "Tamata Alqulb" (the aya that only in the remembrance of Allah will the hearts find rest). This feeling will only be given to those who have tawkul and yaqyn..

Everything is possible but you have to put effort just like Mariam when she shook the tree!

I also heard at another lecture that "Whatever you intend Allah will give you that which you intended"Subhanllah...so it all begins with YOU.


My thoughts...
First off I love the aya, about "Alaa badhhikr Allah tatamat al qulb" as I mentioned in other posts, and I even have a posting of that aya. I always wondered what is needed to get to this beautiful state of mind, so this part of the  lecture gave me a great feeling of excitement. Inshallah we are all close or already in this state.

I think one of the best ways to achieve your goals is to actually write them and plan them, but keep in mind Allah is the best of planners, so you can plan one way, but you will get there in another.
Most people think of academic/career goals. Mine is to become a Higher Education Administrator. I want to continue for my masters, and my highest goal is my dr degree...I never really thought of going that far until I wrote this post! Inshallah if Allah wills I can do it, but I also have to put all the efforts necessary and have tawkul..
