I don't understand why hijabis cant enjoy full hijab at the beach. (as in doesn't tie hijab to back, doesn't take it off, doesn't just wear a hat).
Its quite ironic that the hijabis are shy of their hijab, but the almost naked are not shy of wearing their underwear at a public place (yes a bikini is an underwear).
Why shouldn't hijabis be just as confident about their hijabs as
women are confident about their bikinis?
While I was swimming in the Ocean I couldn't help but smile when I noticed my hijab was all around me in the ocean, it was beautiful! I don't care if the man next to me thought I looked "funny" because I felt beautiful and comfortable.

You never know you might be thinking oh I wonder how I would look in a bikini, and the girl next to you in the bikini is thinking wow she is lucky she gets to cover in confidence, and maybe the man whom you thought is looking at you because you look "funny" is looking you in appreciation of your hijab!!
I feel bad for the girls who have to wear their underwear at the beach...yes sometimes I think oh I wonder how it would feel to swim in a "bikini" but then I think to myself wow I am so blessed I don't have to be almost naked in front of people I never seen in my life!
Oh and same concept goes for the men... I was very appreciative of the concept of men covering their awarah during my swim.
