"And He will provide him from (sources) he never could imagine. And whosoever puts his trust in Allah, then He will suffice him. Verily, Allah will accomplish his purpose. Indeed Allah has set a measure for all things" Quran
For Friday Jumaah, I usually don't decided which Mosque to go to until the morning of jumah (I pray at a different masjid every week). My friend was asking me where I would go for Jumaah, and I jokingly told her "Wherever the angels take me". And how I always hope that I am in a Jumah in which the lecture is relative to my current life situation.
“Good reminders usually hit you in the heart as if they were meant for you, as if Allah-God just sent you a private message to awaken your heart”
How beautiful are your hardships when you make sincere duaa to Him, cry to Him ,believe in His Promise and you place your full trust in Him! These are the things Prophet Yusuf and his father did and look at their ending mashAllah!
For this Jumah I was weighing two options: Jumaah at my local masjid, or Jumah with the MSA. About half an hour before Jumah, I decided to go to the local masjid. I thought the lecture would be about Egypt, but subhanAllah it was totally different...it was about exactly what I posted in my last blog: the dress code of the Muslim! I swear to you that is a message from Allah, because the night before when I was typing my post I was sad, but then I thought to myself how
I must not lose hope in Allah.
Also before the posting of that post I received disappointing news that made me even more sad for the moment, but again I reminded myself of Surat Yusuf, and the status of the believers. I thought to myself Allah only wants what is best for me!
After hearing the beautiful khutbah on the Muslim dress code an hour later, I received beautiful news from the Sheikh of my Masjid which was probably a response to the disappointing news of yesterday.
I thought of how beautiful it is when you place your full trust in Allah, and how Allah reallllllyy provides from "Sources you don't know of", and how this news from the sheikh was exactly that!
What a beautiful moment for the believer
