Look at the previous post to understand what an ayah journal is
Todays aya I choose to explore is one I heard in the car from Surat Qaf.
During the Canada RIS Convention Sheikh Mishary recited Surat Qaf, I will never forget that recitation : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=saUmDST2Kyc
Ayah Journal Entry 1:
1. Open the Quran,
and pick one ayah
So I couldnt limit it to one ayah, because these ayas complete one another.
Surat Qaf Ayah 6-8
Do they not look at the sky above them?- How We have made it and adorned it, and there are no flaws in it?
And the earth - We spread it out and cast therein firmly set mountains and made grow therein of every beautiful kind,
Giving insight and a reminder for every servant who turns to Allah .
2. Read the meaning
understand it and apply it your own life
In my understanding, we have to look around the earth, the sky, the mountains, the plants, and we have to acknolwedge the beauty and the One who created this beauty, the Most Beautiful.
Apply to life: Observe the earth, acknowledge and remeber the Creator,
turn to Allah say subhanAllah...
3.Jot down the aya
in your journal and state in keywords

4. Make acting on
the ayah your mission for the day
Observe the earth and remeber Allah
5. Share the aya
and your personal lessons with someone else
