Huda Writess: Orphan Sponsorship

Imagine this....

'You are 12 years old and both of your parents have passed away due to a lack of water. You have two younger sibilings, and your elderly family memebers are all displaced. Who is going to take care of you and your siblings? Finally a kind donor sponsors you and your siblings for a whole year through the Islamic Relief Orphan Sponsorship program...."

Around this time last year - Ramadan,

I was able to collect money from you to sponsor an orphan, alhumdAllah through a group effort we were able to sposnor two orphans in Somilia. This sponsorship expires this month, and we have to renew it by July 31st...it is a total of $516 for Somilia or a monthly payment of $43

Are you going to neglect these orphans or are you going to help? I ask you all to help me renew this sponsorship and psossibly set a goal of getting at least one sponosrship by the end of Ramadan.

How You Can Help

Donors in the IRUSA community have a variety of options for orphan care—you can choose to provide support on a monthly or yearly basis via a one-to-one sponsorship, and can specify the country you would like your gift directed to. Of course, you can also choose to direct your charitable giving to a general orphan support fund so that your gift will go wherever it is needed most.
