Dont choose me for how I look because ima get old and look just like your grandmother, I am going to have kids and lose the shape you fell in love with, ill try my best to workout but hey you never know. Choose me for what the Prophet advised you guys to choose for , "Seek the one with deen(religion) - so that you may be successful". I mean you can choose me for how I look because the Prophet also mentioned that as a reason to marry, but try not to make that your priority*.
Choose me because of my smile, and you think I am funny (or maybe I am the only one who thinks that). Choose me because you can see me as your future wifey.
As for you make sure you have deen and character, because thats what the Prophet advise us women to look for. If you dont got that, dont bother walking through my door, unless you plan on improving. Its okay if you got a past, but make sure you repent, and make sure your present consists of two things 1. deen and 2. character. I dont expect you to be some type of sheikh, but you better be praying five times a day. Whos gona be my household imam if you dont even pray? No excpetions on that! Another additional I would add is being active in the community. Volunteer, attends the masjid,conventions,lecturs etc, I mean its okay if you dont, but ima defintelly drag you along, it would be nice if you were one of those guys. And last but not least, please be funny or you will never understand me.
As for your salary, you better be making a 6 digit salary. Lol, just kidding, all I need is a house (no we dont have to own it because ribba is haram), food, and you know those basics, whatever you can afford, im really not an expensive girl. I do want to let you know that some of my money goes to the poor, so I would definitely expect you to sponsor a orphan or two. If you dont give to the poor regulary then I dont think I want to meet you, because if you dont have a heart to support them then how will I have confidence you will support me? Just saying.
As for my career I am undecided on wether I want to work or not, I want to make sure I fulfill my repsonbilities of cooking and cleaning and eventually inshallah caring for a larger family. I beleive the women has to fulfill these responsibilities and they shouldnt be ignored. If the career is keeping the women from fulfilling her duties, then maybe she should leave. Although this matter is undecided, I know I want to contunie my education inshallah, because the first word brought down to the Prophet was "Read". How can someone discourage one from learning, when this was the first statemnet send down in Islam? I never want to stop learning.
I dont know what else to say, but I guess we can talk more later. Ill make sure to have this list prepared when you come wallking through my door.
