Ummrah: No Mahram ,I Really Want To Go, Allah Knows Best

When I first read that the 2012 ICPC Umrah trip was open for sisters, I was the second person to go to the office to reserve. I was told  you cant go unless your mahram accompanies you. I was really sad and today I just found out that Yasmine Moghed would be the leader of the sisters for this trip, again I was sad at the fact that I cant go.
All I can think is "I want to break the mahram rule and just go! I want to get married so  I can have a mahram accompany me!" And then I remembered the aya I learned about today at Dr. Eslam Elfaymouis ICPC sunday lecture today,
2:216

"But perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you; and perhaps you love a thing and it is bad for you. And Allah Knows, while you know not"
-Surat Al Baqarah 216
How can we question Allahs wisdom? This was the topic of Eslams lecture today.

If Allah says dont travel without a mahram, we must obey. We may try to guess all of the scenarios of why or why not we need a mahram, but we must know that there is a wisdom we will never know, but we must with certianity obey and put our trust in Allah. For all of you who are also sad you cannot attend, dont be because inshallah Allah has a better plan for you.

Dr.Eslam gave us three points on Qada and Qadr

1. You have to beleive in the knoweldge of Allah that was always there,
everything was there all at time.

2.Allah wrote down all His knoweldge in one book called the Protected Tablet.

The aya, "There is no trial that has befallen expect that it was written in a book"

You have to accpet that something was going to happen good or bad, and that you could not stop it.

3. Allahs will is all encompassing, nothing can happen except by Allahs will.

Surat Alkhaf:
"Do not say I will do something tomorrow excpet that you say inshallah"
This came to the Prophet after the Jews had approcahed him concerning a question, and the Prophet told them I will tell you tommorow.

Eslam advised us to train oursleves to say inshallah for everything, so that you can remind yourself  that Allah is in control of everything.
